I would like a particular letter combination that I have set as a shortcut to appear without expandingWe recommend that you use unique shortcuts that will not need to be used in other circumstances.
- With some applications, you may revert back to the original letter combination after it has been expanded by pressing CTRL+Z.
- For programs that simply delete the text when you press Ctrl+Z, try the following:
- Type the letter combination except for the last letter
- Press the Space Bar
- Use the mouse or arrow keys to move the cursor back to the end of the letter combination
- Type the last letter of the combination
- Use the mouse or arrow keys to move the cursor forward past the space that is after the letter combination
- Continue typing normally
- You may also toggle FastFox shortcuts on or off
- Click the Options button on the toolbar
- Go to the General tab
- Select the checkbox next to Use this shortcut to turn FastFox shortcuts On/Off
- Click the OK button
- When you are typing and want FastFox shortcuts turned off, use the shortcut to turn it off
- The default is CTRL+ALT+SPACE
- Remember to turn FastFox shortcuts back on when you are finished
